Well this is more of a re-introduction, but here goes. I'm Keri and I've been in the hobby since the nineties and I actually went to the ATS convention in 2005. I was severely pregnant with my first kiddo and the spider collecting went downhill fast with the introduction of babies. Now, however, my grubs are old enough to share my interest in eight-legged beasties and we've managed to negotiate five of them back into our lives. I am criminally devoid of arboreals though, so it may need to be six or seven soon.

Image

That's me currently. My favorite critter would be the H. maculata or P. cambridgi, but as I am currently arboreal-less. :( I'm lacking in images for either. I do have a horrid shot of my Chaco I can share.

Looking forward to talking spiders again. :)

Awesome you found us again! Welcome back to the hobby. I know I would have seen you in 2005, but sadly my memory is a bit foggy...

It's okay, mine gets foggier by the day. I blame the children. I remember chatting, but it was ages ago! I was the one seven months pregnant trying to work out how to bend over and see a tarantula burrow. ;)

Hello all! Long time lurker, first time poster! Name is Lucy and as my username states, I have twins and am a stay at home mom. I can't decide which of my tarantulas I love most. I am at 15 tarantulas and 1 'true spider'(a wolfie I rescued as a baby in my basement). Glad to finally be a member on the forums! Well and as soon as I figure out how to upload pics on my phone I'll submit a couple...

Hi Lucy, welcome to our little family of arachnid addicts... I feel your pain deciding on my favorites, but I still own the one that got me started in the hobby, so she will always be number One!
Can't wait to see your photos!
Anette

Hey everyone,

Name's Kyle. I'm a long time invert enthusiast, but first time ATS member/ATS forum user. I've come to know a few people through this year's Chicagonland Arachnogathering, as well as through the ATS Facebook page, both of which influenced me to join. I look forward to talkin' Ts!

Oh, and here's the visual part - this is me with "Bubba" at the March 2014 NARBC show in Tinley Park:

Hello, I was in the hobby back in 2007-09 and even got to got to 2009 conference in AZ. Then my hubby passed- derailed me for a number of years.
I have recently added to what was left of my collection. My mature females are: A. seemani, GBB, euathalus red, euathalus gold, B. smithi, avicularia sp? (sold as purpurea), N. chromatus and my little possum (E. campestatus. My new slings: A. amazonica, A. jurjurenisis, A versi, B albo, H. mira, P. irmina, I. hirsutum, L. kluggi, A geniculatta, mozambique gold, Sulawhesi sp?- mispelled many I am sure but I am comfortable with the fact that NASA is not trying to recruit me! Anyway I am sorry to see forum so slow, but there is still some wonderful info here and good people I am sure.
will have to figure out how to add pic.
