So, are there any clubs or events anywhere in Maryland, Virgina area? I live in Annapolis in between DC and Baltimore. Its bad enough I can't find a pet store that deals with T's, and the only event around here is the Mid- Atlantic Reptile show. So how about it folks, any ideas?

No clubs that I'm aware of, but there are numerous smaller reptile shows in your area. In Havre De Grace Maryland there's a show every moth except September. There's also a show Manassas VA about 5 times a year.

The invertebrate dealers at these shows can be hit or miss. Sometimes you'll go and there will be a good selection of inverts, and other times not. These are smaller shows.

Both of these shows are promoted by Maryland Reptile Farms and if you google that name you'll find show dates and times on their website. Also, check kingsnake.com and reptiles magazine for lists of upcoming shows.

Hmmm thanks for the info Wade. Manassas Va. isn't to far away from where I live. Might be a great day trip. But, I was hoping to find others near by who have more experience in this wonderful hobby of ours to get together and talk and share info. I guess this might be a good time to start something for Maryland. LOL!!! How about B.A.W.T.S. Baltimore, Annapolis, Washington DC, Tarantula Society. Sounds good doesn't it.

there is a MD arachno group, but its relatively new and has only had a handfull of meetings. They have been ok so far. I missed the sept one. I live in Baltimore and there are 2 pretty decent pet stores that deal with T's up here. PM me and I'll drop you the info!
