I am very excited about the website I am planning on putting together this winter. It is going to be a takeoff of lotsalegs (http://www.entomology.umn.edu/cues/tenczar/index.htm
) but the theme is midwest spiders.
I posted a bunch of the araneid pics I'll be using a couple of threads back; in addition to those posted I have A. diadematus
and someone has allowed me to use her photos of Argiope aurantia
I have been taking spiders pics constantly. In addition, I have the following so far:
Salticidae:-Phidippus audax-Salticus scenicus-Sitticus sp.-Platycryptus undatus
Theriidae:-Steatoda triangulosa-Achearanea tepidariorum
(unfortunately, I just release a nice round female in my room and then realized I hadn't yet photographed her, doh! Maybe I'll see her around as my photos haven't been the best of this species)
(unless there is another species hanging out in houses)
-unidentified species (just got this one tonight!)
11 families so far unless I am forgetting some. If any of you would like to contribute, please let me know. Oh, and all spiders are photographed live! I am especially in need of Linyphiidae pictures.
