I thought it would be good to start a thread showing habitat for different species.

This is prime real estate for Centruroides vittatus here in South Missouri. This type of habitat is known as a glade. The scorpions are found underneath rocks that are fairly dry underneath them

Good deal, Brian, but one thing you'll learn about C. vittatus is the wide variety of habitats in which they are found! It'll make your head swim and would tie up the server if I uploaded all my photos of those! But, yeah, this is a great idea. We'll see about putting this kind of thing in a section for the Gallery.

I think showing different habitats in different areas will be a good idea easpecially for those of us that like to go collecting. And yes C vittatus occupy a number of different habitat but unfortunatly I can only show the habitat in MO in which they are found.
