Ok that's what I thought they were
I'll have to remember to give them some wood. I don't think my other pedes have wood either. I'll get some from outside somewhere pesticide free - if they get lucky they can get some cool fun stuff in with them on the wood.

Mine have gone crazy on the wood in the pictures. Anything rotted was consumed in under a week.

They seem to have slowed down a bit and most times when I check in on them, I am concerned because regardless of the time of day, they are inactive. They arent always in the same spot though when I look around so they must be doing ok and my timing is just bad.

Well, they were probably pretty hungry when you got them! I didn't see anywood in those cups, and the moss they were in was probably good for holding moisture but offered nothing in the way of food. They've probably just slowed down to a normal rate of feeding.

Yes I did. They stripped it of all the edible bark and left a husk of non decayed wood =) Then they made babies...YAY!
