I have an AGB with a split exoskeleton, all legs seem to
Move but it is obviously injured. Happened yesterday at some point. Split runs
Around the Millie. Can see underneath . Is it best to isolate without dirt substrate? Just isolate it? Or leave it be? It is housed with several other Millie's .

Not really sure. Are you sure it's not molting? I'm not sure how the Exo splits when they molt, cause I've never seen any of mine do it.
If it really is injured, you probably want to move it to somehtign without substrate in it. Any digging through the dirt could potentially injur it more. (My guess) Hopefully someone with more expertise in this field will come along with more help.

On a side note, two things. First are you aware of the various local groups in Florida? There is the Florida Panhandle Invertebrate Club (FPIC) and the Central Florida Spider group (CFL Spiders), both on Facebook.

Also FYI, AGBs (and all non-native millipedes) are a restricted species in Florida and require a permit from the Florida Department of Agriculture to posess. I did a full write up on the invertebrate laws for Florida for the FPIC newsletter when I lived there. If you join them you can download it from their FB site.

He died, in retrospect I should have tried to isolate him in a more humid enclosure. I just
Didn't want to stress him any more. I suspect he would still have died.
Nope, didn't realize they were restricted. What year did that happen?

The guidelines were last updated in October 2010. The earliest I see documentated on their website stating them as restricted was July 2009. But I assume that they have been restricted for quite a while before that.
