lol i finally let my son go through my tubs of magic the gathering cards and he found my ATS 2001 Con disk and on it was the pic of the poor Recluse who climbed onto my shoe trying to escape the crowds in the dealers hallway. even though they have fused chelicera and need to be pressed on you to bite the handlign of Recluse spiders is not advised

It does look a bit haggard. I hope it behaved itself and took the ride nice without a bite.

OT - but - MTG? Cardboard forever, yes! I'm looking foreward to TS's Penumbra Spider since we have a little wench in my group who can't stop Wrathing all of our hitters and then dropping 1 or 2 cheap fliers!
Cool recluse; little 6 eyed beauts, they are!

Thanx for the pic. I've never seen one. I work in a hospital and every time someone gets bit by a spider they come into the E.R. and swear up and down that's it's a recluse. I know that about 99.9% of them are full of "beans". People are so freaked these days about recluse spiders. A harmless little house spider may end up on them and bite because it's freaked and then the "victim" freaks. I do believe that there are fiddle-backs in Fla but, not nearly as many as folks are tempted to believe. From what I've read, they are more or less, a southwestern species. If I'm wrong, please educate me. These people down here are, I believe, making much ado about nothing!

Cool recluse]
Can somebody interpret this? Where in the heck have I woken up this time?
It's nice of Mike to rescue the little critters, he's got such a big heart doesn't he?

that was liek the first time id ever seen a live one before it was interestign to have foudn it on my shoe tryign to escape the traffic, guess i just give off that vibe that wasnt the first of the last time i have had things crawl on me escapign danger. anywasy i had been told in the past that since they have fused chelicera they cant bite us unless they get pressed up against up liek if they are in our clothes, bed or slapped when crawlign on us so i felt safe takeign the poor guy off my shoe and lettin it go outside

Hurray for you and the good vibes you give off. There are those who rescue, those who exploit and a lot in between. Glad you are one of the good guys!
