Im just wondering if this is a D. tenebrosus? It was about 2.5" and right by the waters edge. Definitely a fishing spider of sorts, but Im not sure of the species name. Anyone know? Am I correct?

Look at the chevron patterns on the abdomen. It looks like tenebrosus to me. But do you have a dorsal pic? Did you keep it? They are fun little pets.

No dorsal pic, sorry! And no, I didnt keep it. Im not too interested in keeping these, they belong out near a river IMO. ;)
