I found a male carolina wolf spider last night and took it home to meet the female that I have posted about.
Here is the female. You might remember this photo.

Boy meets girl.
(The carboard tube is the size that kite string usually comes on, not toilet paper)
Mating.
He went from one side to the other and back again at least 20 times on each side!

Superb efforts Brian!!! Many congrats! I hope you get a nice fat sac. Ive never seen such nice lookin wolf before! I love the black pulchra-like appearance of the female, and the colored chelicerae on the male. WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Pictures!!! I have two females myself and they are so cool to watch in the 5.5 gal tank setups I have them in. Love the color of your female as mine look more like you male.

I'm glad you said that--I've been suffering from the delusion that I had a small T and when I saw that picture I realized I had a wolf spider.
