That was Brent Karner, curator of the Insect Zoo at the L.A. Natural History Museum. He's a good friend, possesses a wealth of knowledge about invertebrates and he's a great drinking buddy, especially while in the field.
I supplied the B. smithi and the Cyriopagopus species Singapore Blue. The Blue is actually my "pet" and is a non-defensive, non-aggressive sweetheart.
Brent said the only time she was jumpy was when the band was rehearsing.
But, yeah, good stuff for sure, and I'm trying to get Brent out to the Conference this year.
