What are we and what do we do?

The ATS, established in 1991, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to furthering education about tarantulas and other arachnids. A cooperative effort, our membership includes everyone from professional arachnologists to kids of all ages. The common threads that bind us together are an interest in tarantulas, scorpions, and other arachnids and that we either need help from others, or have some to share.

Here you'll find people you can talk with about your common interests and concerns on our message boards. We have free information available for download as well as manuals, books, and cds for purchase in our Shop. You might even choose to join our organization, become a part of our extended family, and receive our quarterly Forum magazine. Don't forget you're also invited to participate in our annual Conference.
